RTX Performance with Hyper-Threading Enabled

RTX compatibility does not necessarily guarantee bounded interrupt latencies. All commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and operating system combinations that are compatible with RTX must also be evaluated for performance. IntervalZero provides tools with the RTX Runtime to assist OEMs in qualifying their systems for performance.

Worst-case RTX interrupt latencies can be measured on all compatible system configurations by running the RTX Demo utility.

In general, RTX performance on a system with a single HT-enabled processor installed should fall somewhere between that of a true multiprocessor system and a uniprocessor system without HT enabled. However, actual performance may vary depending on the overall system configuration.
