RtTcpipCtrl Utility

This utility can be used to safely bring down (stop) the RtxTcpIp Protocol Stack.

Usage

RtTcpipCtrl [options]

Option

Description

+h

Display heap usage

+a

Return the number of processes attached to the RT-TCP/IP Stack

+s

Stop the stack, if there is no attached process.  Otherwise, the stack will not be stopped, the number of attached processes will be returned, and a warning will popup.

+q

The same as +s except without display errors or warnings

IMPORTANT!  Killing the stack while it is still in use may lead to unpredictable system behavior (including the Microsoft STOP Message). Many NICs are bus master DMA devices and must be shut down and placed in a safe state. Using the RtTcpipCtrl utility will insure that all NICs are safely shut down.
