Understanding Labels
Kernel events, such as calls to kernel services and user events, and Raw Events (when included and filtered on) are displayed as text labels on the right side of the scheduling trace in the Trace View.
The color... | Indicates... |
---|---|
Red | Blocking system calls |
Green | The return of blocking system calls |
White | System calls that completed without blocking |
Orange | System calls that returned due to a timeout or failure |
Yellow | User events |
Light Blue | Kernel notices |
Teal |
Raw Monitoring events. NOTE: Raw Events are included by default. You can disable Raw Events through the Settings dialog (File > Settings). |
NOTE: The color associations noted above may not apply depending on the current TraceView color scheme.
