Enabling and Disabling Logging to a File

Use the procedure below to enable or disable logging to a file. Logging is independent of the RTX64 Server console and, if it is enabled, will continue to happen even if the console is not active.

NOTE: You must have Windows Administrator privileges to change these settings. If you do not have the proper permissions, these settings will be grayed out.

To enable or disable logging to a text file:

1. From the View menu, choose Options. The Options dialog box appears.
2. On the Logging tab, do one of the following:

• To enable logging to a file, check the Log output to file box.
• To disable logging to a file, clear the Log output to file box.

3. Click OK to make your changes and close the Options dialog box.
