Release Notes for Update 2 for RTX64 3.6

Issues Resolved

The following issues were addressed in this product update:

• Resolves issues where the following Windows 10 May security updates were incompatible with RTX64, resulting in error states and/or system hangs:
• Windows 10 Version 1809 - KB4494441
• Windows 10 Version 1803 - KB4499167
• Windows 10 Version 1709 - KB4499179
• Windows 10 Version 1607 - KB4494440

NOTE: On some older hardware, such as Intel^® Ivy Bridge, running Windows 10 Version 1809, attempts to start the RTX64 Subsystem after KB4494441 was applied resulted in an error. Such errors should have been logged to the Windows Event Viewer. Install the latest updates to resolve this issue.

• Resolves an issue where the Task Manager failed to start. (8078)
• Resolves an issue with group validation in the Control Panel. (8074)

Known Issues

• Some RTX64 registry keys remain on the system if RTX64 3.6 is uninstalled without first uninstalling Update 2 for RTX64 3.6. To avoid this issue, uninstall Update 2 for RTX64 3.6 before you uninstall RTX64 3.6. (8245)
