Release Notes for RTX64 4.2.1

RTX64 4.2.1 adds support for Windows 11 and 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors.

Key Features

• Adds support for 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors. (10707)
• Added support for Intel® Thread Director (ITD) in the Subsystem to capture a thread’s ideal core.

NOTE: You can run the standalone HybridInfo utility, available from the IntervalZero Support Site, on 12th Gen processor systems to output Intel Hybrid Core information, including Intel Thread Director (ITD) and software Thread Class ID, for different sets of Intel® assembly instructions.

• Adds support for Intel® Control-flow Enforcement Technology (CET), which allows RTX64 to run on 12th Gen and 11th Gen (Tiger Lake) Intel® processors. (10706)

Issues Resolved

The following issues are addressed by this product update:

• Resolves an issue where RTX64 Analyzer output included incorrect operating system information when run on Windows 11. (10477)
• Resolves an issue where attempts to start a new task through RTX64 Task Manager on Windows 11 resulted in an unexpected error. (10476)
