- Drag the view by holding down the mouse wheel or middle mouse button.
- Use the arrow buttons and page up/down buttons to navigate when the trace view area has focus.
To select and interact with an interval:
- Press and hold the left mouse button to select an interval.
- Right-click on the selection to open a context menu with various options for the selection interval, such as Zoom In.
To measure the time between two event labels:
- Select an event.
- Press and hold the Shift key.
- Select another event.
NOTE: When searching for a particular location, it's often easier to use the Finder or one of the graphical overviews to find it. When using another view to navigate the trace, you can click or double click to focus the trace view on this location. All graphical views also support selecting a time interval (by pressing the left mouse button and dragging) and showing this interval in the trace view.
To zoom:
You can zoom in/out of the display using:
- The Zoom buttons on the Tool Panel
- The + and - keyboard buttons
- The zoom options in the right-click menu.
- Your mouse wheel while pressing the Ctrl key.
NOTE: The scroll-to-zoom behavior is always active when Scroll Lock is enabled. If your mouse features back and forward buttons, you can use them to quickly zoom in and out.
NOTE: The default view size contains the first 100 events. If there are less than 100 events, the default view contains the full trace.
